Welcome! We are glad you are here.

What a story! Muir’s Chapel celebrated it’s its 200th year anniversary in 2022. It has left a footprint on the city of Greensboro and continues to make a difference in the lives of those both inside and outside of the church. Through the years, church members were charter members of Greensboro Urban Ministry, leaders in the community, and worked together to touch lives.

Muir’s Chapel offers three worship services weekly, is engaged in a myriad of outreach ministries, is home to an outstanding playschool, and excellent music is one of its trademarks.

We are more, however, than just this celebration of ministries. The church is a body of living people, journeying together side by side- forgiving, encouraging, inspiring, challenging, and loving one another. It is because we are a body that we have the courage to dig deeper and reach a greater potential together than we would separately.

WHEN IS WORSHIP?

The Sanctuary Service  (10:30 a.m.) is held in the sanctuary. Traditional service include scripture, traditional hymns, liturgy, and preaching. The service features instrumental music and our exceptional Chancel Choir.

WHAT DO THE CHILDREN DO ON SUNDAY MORNINGS?

Children’s Moment: During our 10:30 am service, there is a children’s moment during the worship service. Children’s Church dismisses from the front row of the sanctuary after the children’s moment. Children K-2nd grade are taken to Children’s Church where they learn about Jesus’ love through teaching, crafts, and prayer.  Children are brought back to the sanctuary at the end of the service to reunite with parents.

Nursery: There is a nursery available for infants through preschool ages during both the 9:15 am and 11:10 am services. The Nursery is located in the Kale Center behind the church.

Safe Sanctuary: We follow Safe Sanctuary guidelines. We are committed to protecting our children, and ask that you help keep our children and youth safe by never allowing them to roam the church unattended.
